Hi! My name is Pep. I am a Neanderthal and I lived in Krapina around 130,000 years ago. If you visit the Krapina Neanderthal Museum you will discover how my community lived and find out about the life of Neanderthals in other parts of Europe. A day in my community begins with preparing the men for hunt. Because we are hunters, we are much stronger than you, modern people. We have stronger arms and legs, but we are not taller than 160 cm. We look similar to you, but we have bigger noses, bigger ears and larger teeth and jaws. You will certainly recongnise us by our short, backward sloping forehead, our streight chin and prominent brow ridge!
